Frequently asked questions

Is Typing for Kids free?

Yes. The lessons are free to use, with no account or subscription required.

Does it work with my keyboard?

The lessons use English letters and a QWERTY keyboard guide. A physical keyboard is best for learning finger placement; you can also type with an on-screen keyboard.

Where is progress saved?

Your progress stays in this browser and does not sync across devices. Clearing browser data deletes saved progress. If browser storage is blocked, you can still practice without saving.
